Freedom or Not?
One of the students at my kids' high school jumped up to the balcony and missed, injuring himself in the process. He was suspended.
Someone else videotaped it, and posted it on their website. Pretty humorous to watch actually. Unfortunately the school decided to suspend him as well for doing that.
Hmmm, last time I looked, freedom of expression was constitutionally guaranteed (yes, even in Canada). I'm not sure how the school can suspend a student for what they post on the web, unrelated in any way to the school.
